ABOUT RACINE
READS
Racine Reads is a communitywide reading project in Racine, Wis.,
where residents are encouraged to read the same book at the same time.
This project seeks to promote reading and dialog among the people of Racine County.
BECOMING A PARTNER
Potential partners will be area educators, financial institutions,
health care professionals, city and county resources (including police,
human resource departments, elected officials, etc.), social service
agencies, and local organizations dedicated to making Racine a better
place to live.
We invite you to join us in the conversation about these issues. What
could your organization offer? A speaker, either one of your clients or
someone from your administration? An auditorium or meeting room? Provide
financial support to bring in speakers? Purchase books, for your
employees or others? Perhaps there are upcoming events that could tie in
to Racine Reads? Where do you see the strongest need?
Please call Jessica MacPhail, the library director for the Racine
Public Library, at 636-9252 and let us know how you plan to join the
conversation.
