Racine Reads: Dream Big! is inspiring more than 10,000 elementary school students (Kindergarten through 5th grade) in over 500 public, private and parochial classrooms across Racine to read one million books during the 2011-2012 school year.
The program includes a number of incentives to keep students reading ranging from pizza parties to iPads and a library makeover valued at $100,000 for the school that reads the most books per child.
